ADMIN OFFICER

graduated in Chinese Language and Literature at the University of Torino. During her studies, she attended courses of Chinese Laguage and Culture at Shenzhen University and at East China Normal University of Shanghai. In 2013 she teached Italian language at Guilin University of Electronic Technology. Since 2014 she cooperates with the Institute on several  Italian and Chinese Language projects; she is currently working as Secretary of the Institute.

TEACHER

Chiara Bucci, born in Genoa, graduated in Languages and Civilizations of Asia and Africa in Turin University, with a thesis on historical issues. After several years as Intercultural Educational Mediator (Language and Cultural Support Teacher), she was awarded the Chinese language teaching qualification by the Italian Educational Bureau at The University for Foreign Students in Siena. She is currently teaching Chinese Language and Culture in Genoa, at “G. Deledda” High School.

Sara Caldera graduated at the University di Torino in Chinese and Japanese Language and Culture in 2011. In 2009 and  2015 she attended Chinese Language classes at Shenzhen University and at the Beijing Language Center in Chaoyang/Beijing. In 2011 she worked as an intern at the Italian General Consulate of Guangzhou. Since 2010 she has been working as intercultural mediator for Chinese-speaking migrants in Barge, Bagnolo P.te and Saluzzo. Since 2019 she cooperates with Confucius Institute at the University of Turin.

Andrea Colosio graduated in Asian and African Languages and Civilization at the University of Turin in 2019. In 2017, he attended Chinese language courses at the East China Normal University of Shanghai (one semester). During the first semester of 2019, he has taught Chinese language and culture at I.I.S Bona and starting from October 2019 he has been collaborating with the Confucius Institute at the University of Turin as a teacher at Maria Ausiliatrice Middle and Elementary School and at A. Spinelli Middles School.

Erika Dall’Agnol graduated from University of Torino in July 2011 and got her post-graduation degree in Translation in July 2016. She studied in Beijing Yuyan Daxue in 2006 (three months), 2010 (six months), and 2013 (one-month intensive programme). Since October 2015 she cooperates with the Confucius Institute: this school year she is in charge of Chinese Language classes at Valdese High School (in Torre Pellice).

Clarissa Forte has graduated from Turin University in November 2003 and teaches chinese language in Convitto Nazionale Umberto I since september 2011 (before she teaches in Liceo Carlo Botta, Ivrea). She specialized in Chinese cinema in 2011 at Turin University (Dams). She cooperates with Turin University since 2011.

Ergen graduated in Asian and African Languages and Cultures at the University of Torino. In 2009 and 2011 he was granted scholarships to take Chinese Language intensive courses at Shenzhen University and Shanghai East China Normal University Shanghai. Since 2018 he cooperates with Confucius Institute in Torino teaching Chinese language.

Giada Lakos graduated in Chinese Language and Literature at Turin University. Since 2003 she has been an intercultural mediator for Chinese language in local schools as well as interpreter and translator. Since 2014 she has been cooperating with the Confucius Institute of Turin in several projects. She is currently working at Confucius Institute office.

Irene Lecchi graduated in Chinese Language and Culture at the University of Torino in 2016. In 2017 she has been awarded a scholarship from Hanban and Confucius institute at the University of Torino and attended a Master in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at East China Normal University in Shanghai. She is currently attending a Master Degree in Chinese Language and Culture at the University of Torino and cooperates with Confucius Institute at the University of Torino in teaching projects.

In 1987 Li Wei graduated from the French language literature of Xi'an International Studies University. From 1987 to 1989, she worked as a French tour guide in Xi'an CITS. Since 2001 engaged in Chinese teaching in Genoa of Italy. Her tutoring students have been awarded the Chinese Bridge competition for foreign middle school students. She won the "Excellent Turtor" prize awarded by the Chinese Embassy Culture Department in Rome.

Ambra Macchieraldo graduated in Chinese Language and Literature in Torino in 2005. In 2002 and 2005 she attended a Chinese intensive course in Beijing Language and Culture University. In 2013 she achieved teaching qualification (TFA) for teaching Chinese Language and Culture in Italian High School. She has taught at Ivrea "Carlo Botta" International High School for three years (2012-2015). She now teaches Chinese language at Convitto Nazionale "Umberto I" International High School.

Gabriele Noè earned his M.A. in Language and Culture of Asia and Africa at Turin University in 2013. During his studies, he attended courses of Chinese and Business Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University. In 2015 he achieved teaching qualification (TFA) for teaching Chinese Language and Culture in High School. He has been cooperating with the Confucius Institute since 2014, he teaches currently at Cuneo Peano-Pellico High School, at Ivrea Botta High School and at Turin A. Gambaro Junior School.

Luigi Ottolini graduated in “Languages and Civilizations of Asia and Africa” at University of Turin. He deepened his Chinese proficiency studying at Beijing Language and Culture University and the University of Zhejiang in Hangzhou, and acquired teaching techniques at Beijing International Chinese College. He’s been working as a language teacher (Italian for foreigners, Chinese and English) since 2014 and at Confucius Institute in Turin since 2016.

PENG Xuejun have graduated from Wuhan University with a master’s degree in teaching Chinese as Foreign Language. She worked as a Chinese teacher volunteer in Confucius Institute at University of Pittsburgh in USA from 2011 to 2012. She was employed in East China Normal University since 2013 and worked as a Chinese language teacher in Confucius Institute at the ECNU from 2014-2016. Currently,she is a Chinese Language Teacher in Confucius Institute at University of Turin.

Veronica Regis holds an M.A. in Chinese language and literature and a PhD in Euro-Asian Studies from the University of Torino. She completed the state teaching certification for teaching Chinese Language in Italian High School (TFA). She has been working at the Confucius Institute of Torino since 2008 and served as a research assistant at the Centre of Advanced Studies on Contemporary China in Torino, from 2006 to 2012; she’s teaching Chinese at Altiero Spinelli International School (Torino).

Ylenia Rizzo graduated in a three-year degree in Asian and African Languages and Culture at the University of Torino in 2020. At present she is attending a master's degree in Asian and African Languages for international communication and cooperation. The courses include Chinese language, history, literature and philosophy. Since November 2021 she is teaching Chinese language for Confucius Institute at middle school "Maria Ausiliatrice" in Torino.

Sara Sanna, MA in Chinese language and culture in Torino in 2012, has been awarded a scholarship by Hanban in 2010 for a stay in Shanghai’s East China Normal University; teaches for Confucius Institute since 2011 and is now teaching Chinese at "Liceo Linguistico Maria Ausiliatrice" in Torino.

Cosetta Tolu has graduated from Turin University in 1997, and teaches Chinese Language and Culture in Genoa since 2005. She specialized in Chinese teaching at Milan University. Her courses include history, literature, civilization. Now she cooperates with the Confucius Institute of Turin since 2010.

Silvia Torchio graduated in Chinese Language and Literature at the University of Torino in July 2002. During her studies, she attended a course of Chinese Language and Culture at the Beijing Language University and in 2002, after the degree, she was awarded a grant by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend a one year specializing course in Chinese Language at the Fudan University, in Shanghai. She is a translator and a publishing consultant. Since January 2017, she cooperates with the Institute as a teacher of Chinese language and culture for several teaching projects.

Michela Tortorelli graduated in Chinese Language and Literature at Turin University on February 2008. During her studies, she attended intensive courses at the Beijing Language University. She continued her career working as assistant for the top management of Chinese investments in Italy in the automotive field. She achieved teaching qualification for Chinese Language and Culture in Italian High School and currently teaches Chinese Language at Convitto Nazionale “Umberto I” International High School.

Manuela Vairus graduated in Foreign Languages, major in Chinese Language and Literature, from Turin University in 2004. She spent six years in China to improve her Chinese language skills (she studied at BLCU, Nanjing University) and then to get work experiences as translator and teacher. In 2014 she attended a training for foreign Chinese teachers at Xiamen University, in Xiamen. In 2017 she got ITALS 2 Master degree at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. Since 2013 she has been teaching Chinese language at Turin Confucius Institute and Italian language for the Marco Polo and Turandot Project.

Virginia Valesio graduated in Chinese Language and Literature in 2004 and was awarded a grant to attend courses at Shanghai University. From 2007 to 2015 she worked at the international relations at Politecnico di Torino. After gaining the official certification for teaching Chinese Language and Culture, she taught Chinese Language at Convitto Nazionale Umberto I and Altiero Spinelli high schools. Over the years, she also gained experience in teaching Chinese to elementary school students.

Barbara Viegi graduated in Torino in 2004, her degree thesis was focused on the translation of a Chinese contemporary novel. In the same year she moved to Beijing where she studied Chinese language at Renmin University of China, then worked for several Italian companies in Shanghai and Beijing, until 2012. In 2013 she moved back to Italy and started to work as Secretary of the Confucius Institute of Torino University.

Caterina Viglione graduated at Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia in 1994; she is translator of Chinese literature and professor of Chinese language at the University of Torino. She cooperates with the Confucius Institute since its establishment. She is specialized in modern and contemporary Chinese literature.

Wang Jingjing graduated at East China Normal University in 2011, and taught Chinese to foreigners at the same university since then. She also has taught in EMLYON Business School ,CIEE, East Mandarin School since 2008. Her courses include business Chinese HSK,HSKK, listening, speaking, reading specific courses. Since 2013 she cooperates with the Confucius Institute of Turin, preparing students for HSK and HSKK exams at Università Kore in Enna. Since September 2016 she works in Turin, preparing students for HSK exams.

Anna Zanoli graduated in Chinese Language and Literature in Torino in 2004. In 2005 she received a master’s degree in Services for the Immigrants at the same University. In 2001 and 2004 she attended an intensive Chinese course at Beijing Language and Culture University and Yunnan Normal University (Kunming). She worked as cultural mediator, social researcher and translator. She teaches Chinese at Liceo Internazionale “Carlo Botta” of Ivrea since 2010. In 2013 she achieved the state teaching qualification for teaching Chinese Language and Culture in Italian High School (TFA).

hang Anna graduated from East China Normal University, majoring in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. She has worked in Confucius Institute of Torino University since January 2013 and teaches chinese language at Liceo Altiero Spinelli and Confucius evening classes for adults ( primary, intermidiate and advanced levels).

Zhang Ni, graduated from Xi’an International Studies University with a bachelor’s degree in Italian. During this period, she won two school-level scholarships and excellent graduate in 2018. As an exchange student, she went to Naples Oriental University to study for one year. After graduation in 2018, entered the University of Turin in September of 2018, and she is currently a master's degree in reading in Italian literature, philology and linguistics. Since November 2019, she has conducted internships at the Confucius Institute at the University of Turin, and participated in the Confucius Institute’s Chinese teaching for children. In September 2020, she became a volunteer Chinese teacher and teach at the Confucius Institute at the University of Turin.

Zhang Tianchi obtained the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in 2016 and who completed the master's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from East China Normal University in 2019. She worked as a Chinese teacher of Chinese Language Department of Aarhus University in Denmark and a volunteer Chinese language teacher of Confucius Institute at the Turin University, in charge of Chinese language class, Chinese music class, traditional calligraphy class and other language and cultural courses. She has taught in the Mandarin Excellence Program and sorts of Chinese language and cultural summer camps and Chinese teacher training programs.
