Chinese in Piedmont

The diffusion of Chinese language and culture is one of the main objectives of the Confucius Institute; since its establishment, it cooperates with educational institutions in order to promote Chinese language throughout Piedmont territory, and offers its qualified Italian and Chinese teaching Staff for the realization of language courses in the schools.

The implementation of Chinese courses is based on the cooperation between Italian and Chinese teachers. The Confucius Institutes trains its Italian teachers through specific programs on teaching Chinese as second language; besides, its Chinese teachers are all specialized in teaching Chinese as foreign language, trained at Confucius Institute’s Partner University, East China Normal University.
